For everyone's health and safety,

the K-9 influenza vaccine is required for the social hours.

We now have a weight limit of 35 lbs or less

Socialization (Social Hour) is a huge part of what we have to offer. We wholeheartedly believe dogs are fulfilled when they have the opportunity to play and socialize with their own kind in an open yard setting. We believe it is vital that dogs of all shapes and sizes learn proper manners while playing with others. Safety is our first concern. Rough housing is discouraged and instead replaced with fetch, tug-a-war, and a friendly game of chase. All the dogs are taught to respect one another and to play with only those who wish to play.

Many dogs do very well among other dogs in an open yard setting but some do not fair so well at first. Because safety is our first priority, assessments are conducted prior to dogs joining the socials to see how your dog interacts with others and whether some basic training might be needed first.

Social Hours are currently being held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, available to those residing within our service area. The socials typically begin around 7:30am and end 9:15am-9:30am. The end time is sometimes extended when the dogs are having too much fun to want to stop.

Schedule permitting, a longer social (8-12) is now offered on Fridays (sometimes Monday) with owner drop off and pickup.

We prefer dogs 7 months and older be neutered and spayed.
